They wanted to turn a challenging mountainside into a place that feels easy to live in, where the slope becomes part of the experience instead of something to work around. A flowing paver path moves naturally through the landscape, connecting open lawn areas to a custom pavilion that feels like the heart of the space. Terraced boulder walls hold the hillside with strength and character, adding a sense of permanence and grounding to the design while the garden enclosure brings a quiet, personal layer of use and purpose.

The goal was a space that feels just as good in the evening as it does during the day, where lighting gently shapes the experience as the sun goes down. Warm glows under the pavilion, subtle path lighting, and soft accents on the architecture create a sense of calm and connection after dark. Planting was chosen to feel natural to the setting, offering texture and seasonal change without demanding constant attention. The result is a landscape that feels deeply tied to its mountain surroundings, yet refined, livable, and intentionally crafted for everyday moments outside.
